Our client is an Australian-owned, well-established SME player in the grocery space, known for their commitment to quality and innovation across their portfolio of much-loved brands found in homes across the country.

The business is undergoing an exciting period of change and evolution, with CAPEX investment as well as the creation of new roles and transformation of team structures to support ongoing growth.  As a result, there is an opportunity to join their team in a newly created Assistant Brand Manager role.

About the role 
Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, the Assistant Brand Manager will sit in a diverse and dynamic role supporting across a $100M RSV, market-leading brand across the ANZ market.

This is a great opportunity for someone ready for a step up in their FMCG marketing career as this role will give you true 360 visibility across the brand, as the team focus on refreshing the communications platform and campaign strategy, as well as launching major new innovation to market to expand into new adjacent categories.

You’ll have the chance to take ownership of your own projects, including driving NPD and packaging refresh projects, as well as working with agency partners to bring the new campaign to life, with a focus on exploring new emerging channels, social and digital activation, as well as working with influencers and brand ambassadors.  

This role will best suit a candidate with
  • Prior experience at a Marketing Coordinator level or similar within the FMCG space
  • Strong project management and organisational skills - ideally with NPD project management experience and exposure to stage gate
  • Strong relationship building, communication, influence and stakeholder management skills - comfortable to work closely with both internal and external stakeholders 
  • A curious, proactive mindset with test and learn thinking, keen to bring in new ideas and thinking into a business
  • Strong problem-solving skills and initiative, with the desire to step into a role with a high level of ownership and autonomy
