I’m currently partnering with an established vertically integrated protein manufacturer supplying major retailers and foodservice customers to appoint a newly created Commercial Innovation & Growth Manager.

The Opportunity:
This newly created role will be responsible for identifying and unlocking new commercial revenue streams by expanding the business beyond traditional commodity products into higher-value, scalable opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new commercial growth opportunities through market mapping, competitor analysis and category evaluation across domestic and export markets.
  • Build a pipeline of opportunities across value-added food products.
  • Drive the shift from commodity products to higher margins.
  • Lead strategic B2B engagement to secure customers and long-term partnerships.
What We're Looking For:
  • Strong FMCG background, ideally within food manufacturing environments or food service.
  • Proven experience in product development, innovation and bringing new offerings to market
  • Commercially astute with strong capability across pricing, costing and margin evaluation
  • Ability to assess operational feasibility and work closely with manufacturing and supply chain teams
  • Confident engaging with senior decision-makers and building strategic B2B partnerships
  • Experience identifying and scaling value-added opportunities beyond commodity products
  • Exposure to foodservice, private label or service manufacturing models highly regarded
