About the role:
This is a pivotal leadership opportunity for an accomplished Executive Sales Leader to take ownership of a major high-profile region, accountable for a revenue portfolio exceeding $400M and the leadership of a 17‑person sales team, including six direct reports which include 1x Inside Sales Manager, 4x Senior Key Account Managers and 1x Field Sales Manager
Reporting to the General Manager for the region, you will drive volume growth, protect margin through disciplined pricing and tender governance, and lead a cultural and performance uplift across the team. This role combines strategic influence and hands‑on leadership, engaging at an executive level to deliver sustained business performance.

- Deliver significant revenue growth across the NSW & ACT region, maximising volume and share of wallet
- Protect and improve margins through disciplined pricing, tendering, and commercial controls
- Build and maintain strong senior relationships with strategic key customers
- Embed consistent sales rhythm through pipeline management, forecasting, and performance tracking
- Collaborate cross‑functionally within a matrix structure, partnering with Operations, Supply Chain and Commercial leaders
- Contribute to strategic planning and S&OP processes, driving long‑term growth initiatives
- Coach, mentor, and develop team capability, building a culture of improvement and shared success
About you:
You are a proven, highly experienced sales leader who can motivate teams, drive performance, and navigate complexity in large, multi‑layered operational organisations.
- Demonstrated success leading large sales teams with accountability for major revenue portfolios
- Strong people leadership skills and a track record of building high‑performing, engaged teams
- Deep commercial acumen and discipline in balancing growth and margin
- Experience operating within complex or matrix environments, influencing effectively across diverse stakeholders
- Credibility engaging from boardroom to job site
- Structured, data‑driven approach to sales management with a clear performance cadence
- Collaborative, practical leadership style with excellent communication and stakeholder skills
- Industry background coming from driving sales transformation and lifting capability at large complex operational businesses
