Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts across multiple industries.
- Develop and execute account strategies to drive revenue growth while ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities within existing accounts and through targeted business development.
- Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and pricing with full accountability for profitability.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery and execution of account plans.
- Maintain accurate CRM records including pipeline, forecasts, and customer interactions.
- Provide regular updates and reports on account performance and opportunities.
- Support strategic growth initiatives across key trade lanes and target markets.
Skills and Attributes
- Experience in freight forwarding or logistics, ideally in a strategic or senior account management role.
- Personable, professional, and relationship-driven with a strong commercial mindset.
- Confident managing high-value portfolios, with the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder accounts.
- Proactive, flexible, and capable of balancing client-facing responsibilities with strategic planning.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with credibility across all levels of an organisation.
