About the Role
A leading automation and robotics provider is seeking a hands-on Service Technician to deliver safe, reliable, and proactive support to their customers.You’ll handle fault diagnosis, repairs, breakdown callouts, and preventative maintenance across a variety of automation systems, machinery, and robotic installations — keeping downtime to a minimum and systems running at their best.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance, servicing, and repairs on automation systems, robotic equipment, and industrial machinery.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults both on-site and remotely.
  • Build strong relationships onsite, acting as a trusted technical guide for operators and site managers.
  • Respond to service calls promptly and participate in an on-call roster for urgent breakdowns.
  • Keep accurate service records, including labour, parts, consumables, and detailed job reporting.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety, certification, and regulatory standards.

What We’re Looking For:
  • 3–5 years’ experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role.
  • Trade-qualified fitter with strong electrical knowledge.
  • Electrical connect and disconnect licence (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
  • Experience in industrial machinery or automated manufacturing environments.
  • Comfortable in high-pressure production sites.
  • Customer-focused with confident communication skills.
  • Full driver’s licence with no demerit points.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, including occasional overnight stays.
