Production Supervisor
Six Degrees Executive are partnering with one of our favourite clients in the search for a Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations across one of our fresh food production sites. This is a hands-on leadership role with full responsibility for safety, quality, people, and performance in a fast-paced, perishable goods environment.
Reporting to the State Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering production plans, driving continuous improvement, and building a strong, safety-first culture.

Reporting to the State Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering production plans, driving continuous improvement, and building a strong, safety-first culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all day-to-day production activities to meet customer demand, quality standards, and operational KPIs
- Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with WHS legislation and company safety systems
- Ensure full compliance with HACCP, GMP, and food safety requirements
- Manage production resources, labour, inventory, and materials to plan
- Oversee daily production reporting, including labour efficiency, downtime, waste, and variance analysis
- Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and production teams, ensuring training and capability uplift
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime, waste, and cost
- Oversee maintenance activity and equipment reliability, coordinating repairs and contributing to CAPEX planning
- Support the introduction of new products in collaboration with QA, Operations, and Business Development teams
- Build strong working relationships with logistics, sales, head office functions, suppliers, and customers
- Proven experience in a Production / Manufacturing Management role, ideally within food or FMCG
- Strong working knowledge of production processes, inventory control, and end-to-end supply chain operations
- Sound understanding of food safety regulations, HACCP, consumer protection, and WHS in a manufacturing environment
- Experience using ERP systems for production planning, inventory management, and reporting
- Demonstrated leadership capability with the ability to influence, develop teams, and deliver change
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision making
- Comfortable working in cold / temperature-controlled production environments
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or extended shifts when required
