The company manufactures and distributes a range of branded products sold through major hardware retail channels — including Bunnings and Mitre 10 — as well as through commercial and B2B channels.

Reporting to a global CEO, the General Manager holds full P&L accountability for the company's largest and most established region. This is a significant leadership role with scope to shape both commercial strategy and organisational culture across a dual retail and commercial business.

- Delivering profitable growth across retail (Bunnings, Mitre 10 and related hardware channels) and commercial B2B portfolios
- Leading a high-performing ANZ leadership team with a focus on capability, culture and engagement
- Translating strategic priorities into clear execution plans with measurable commercial outcomes
- Strengthening retailer and commercial partner relationships to protect and grow market-leading brand positions
- Driving a shift toward a more customer-led, solutions-oriented business model
- Representing the ANZ business effectively within the broader Group leadership structure
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a commercially astute and people-focused leader with a track record of driving growth through major hardware retail channels and/or commercial B2B markets. You will be equally comfortable setting strategy and rolling up your sleeves — someone who leads with integrity and brings genuine energy to building teams and customer relationships.
You will bring:
- Senior general management or P&L leadership experience within consumer hardware, building products, outdoor living or a closely related category
- Demonstrated success selling through major hardware retail channels including Bunnings and/or Mitre 10
- Experience managing commercial and B2B customer relationships alongside a retail portfolio
- A track record of building and leading high-performing teams through periods of growth and change
- Strong commercial acumen with hands-on experience managing revenue, margin and cost
- A collaborative, values-led leadership style with the credibility to influence at both operational and executive levels
