A well-established national B2B organisation operating across industrial and infrastructure sectors is seeking a Customer Insights & Market Intelligence Manager to join its Customer Experience function. The business provides essential equipment, services and engineered solutions to critical industries including mining, defence, utilities, marine and major infrastructure. With operations across Australia and a strong customer base, the organisation is now investing in stronger customer insight capabilities to support a shift toward a more customer-centric and solutions-focused operating model. This high profile role will sit within the Customer Experience team and play a key part in unlocking the value of the organisation’s extensive customer and operational data.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Customer Experience, this role will lead the development of the organisation’s customer insights capability. You will work across multiple internal data sources to identify patterns, uncover commercial opportunities and translate insight into clear strategic actions for the business.
The organisation holds a significant volume of customer information across systems such as Salesforce, enterprise data warehouses and operational platforms. The focus of this role is to bring structure to that data environment, generate meaningful insight and ensure those insights influence decision making across sales, marketing and operational teams.

You bring experience in customer insights, market intelligence, commercial analytics or CX strategy, ideally within complex B2B or industrial environments. You are comfortable working with large datasets and translating analysis into practical commercial insight. - Analysing customer and operational data to identify growth opportunities within the existing customer base
- Developing segmentation models and prioritising high-value customer accounts
- Supporting the organisation’s customer data roadmap in partnership with IT and external analytics partners
- Delivering executive-level reporting and insight dashboards that track customer performance and engagement
- Leading Voice of Customer initiatives including NPS analysis and structured customer research programs
- Supporting the development of digital customer engagement platforms designed to strengthen relationships with key accounts
- Partnering with sales teams to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across complex customer environments
- Working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, IT and operations to embed customer insights into strategic decisions
About You
You bring experience in customer insights, market intelligence, commercial analytics or CX strategy, ideally within complex B2B or industrial environments. You are comfortable working with large datasets and translating analysis into practical commercial insight. Just as importantly, you can communicate those insights clearly to senior stakeholders and influence decision making across the organisation.
You will likely bring:
- Strong analytical capability and experience working with CRM or enterprise data platforms
- Experience developing customer segmentation, market insight or Voice of Customer programs
- The ability to translate complex data into clear strategic recommendations
- Confidence presenting insights and reports to senior leadership teams
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work across multiple business functions
