This privately owned Australian business has been in operation for over 100 years as a local manufacturer and supplier of consumer and commercial hardware products. They have built a heritage and reputation in market that has awarded them a market leading positioning and a loyal and highly engaged team.
The business is evolving in terms of leadership and structure and as such, a key leadership role has become available leading the consumer sales team.
The role
Reporting into the Commercial Director and Founder of the business of the business, you will lead the national account team and field operations across all major and independent customer groups. With full P&L responsibility, you will hold accountability for channel performance, driving new revenue, ranging and product opportunities and the overall performance of the national team. As this is a private a business, this role will be broad with responsibility to contribute to on-going business improvements across operating rhythms and capability. You will also be required to provide insight to maintain market share and continue performance in a competitive and ever-changing market place.
Skills and experience
For this role we require extensive experience in the consumer hardware channel in a leadership capacity. Your experience will be diverse with the ability to expand this position across roles and functions in time as leadership opportunities present. Your leadership experience will include the operational management of nationally based team and you will have high level influence and stakeholder management ability.
