Role Overview
This role focuses on driving utilisation of the rental fleet and generating new business opportunities across Perth and surrounding regions. You will work with industrial operators, contractors and project teams to supply generator hire and associated power solutions for a range of applications.
 
The position is suited to a proactive sales professional who enjoys being on the road, building relationships and identifying opportunities in a fast-moving sales environment.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for rental power solutions across the Perth territory
  • Build relationships with industrial operators, contractors and project managers
  • Manage opportunities from initial engagement through to quote, negotiation and close
  • Maintain strong pipeline visibility and activity tracking within Salesforce
  • Conduct regular face-to-face meetings with customers across the territory
  • Work closely with operations and service teams to deliver solutions for customers
  • Provide input on local asset requirements to support customer demand and maximise utilisation
  • Support delivery, invoicing and follow-up where required to ensure a smooth customer experience
 
Skills and Attributes
  • Proven experience in B2B sales or business development
  • Strong ability to generate new business and prospect for opportunities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, transactional sales environment
  • Strong relationship-building skills with industrial or project-based customers
  • Highly organised with strong CRM discipline and pipeline management
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously
 
Experience selling into industrial, construction, utilities or mining environments will be highly regarded.
