Head of Sales & Marketing
An exciting opportunity has come up to lead the build and growth of a new consumer brands division within a well-established ~$400M manufacturing business.
Currently sitting at ~$50M, this division has a clear ambition to scale significantly, with a defined 5-year strategy, strong retail foundations, and the backing of an established operation. This is a true end-to-end leadership role with full accountability across brand, sales, and commercial performance.
About the role
You will lead the growth and profitability of a portfolio of FMCG consumer brands, owning everything from brand strategy and marketing execution through to sales performance, pricing, and gross margin delivery. This role sits at the centre of the business, shaping how brands win with consumers and retailers, and how that translates into sustainable commercial outcomes.
Key responsibilities
About you
To be successful you will bring a depth of experience across FMCG marketing with exposure to sales, revenue management or P&L ownership, ideally within home care or adjacent categories. You are a commercially sharp brand leader who understands how to drive both growth and profitability; comfortable owning pricing, trade spend and margin outcomes, not just brand equity. You have a track record of building and scaling brands in fast-paced or resource-constrained environments, and can operate seamlessly between strategy and execution with an ability to operate within ambiguity and pivot when needed. With a strong bias toward action, you’re equally confident leading teams, influencing stakeholders, and rolling up your sleeves to deliver results.

Key responsibilities
- Own P&L performance (to gross margin) across the consumer brand portfolio
- Lead integrated brand and sales strategies across retail, digital and trade channels
- Drive top-line growth through strong customer, category and channel execution
- Define and optimise pricing, pack architecture and promotional strategy
- Lead digital marketing and consumer engagement, including paid media, content and eCommerce
- Build and deliver a robust innovation pipeline from concept through to launch and optimisation
- Partner cross-functionally (Finance, Supply Chain, Product) to balance growth with margin discipline
- Lead and develop a lean, high-impact team, alongside agency partners
