About The Company
Our client is a long-standing supplier in the outdoor and lifestyle category, with an exclusive partnership supplying into Bunnings Warehouse. With a heritage dating back to the mid-1980s, the business has built a strong reputation for delivering high-volume, cost-effective product across BBQs, outdoor furniture, heating, and garden categories. Operating a well-established FOB model, they work closely with international suppliers across Asia and local design partners to bring on-trend, commercially viable products to market.

About The Role
This role sits at the centre of their Bunnings relationship, blending national account management with product ownership. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining strong buyer relationships, identifying opportunities across ranging and new product development, and driving growth through both strategic planning and in-season execution. The position also involves working closely with offshore suppliers and internal teams to deliver end-to-end product outcomes, alongside analysing performance, market trends, and competitor activity to inform commercial decisions.

Skills & Expertise Required
The role will suit a commercially minded professional with experience across account management, product development, or business development within retail or wholesale environments. You’ll bring a strong track record of managing key accounts, ideally within large-format retail, along with the ability to interpret data, influence at buyer level, and negotiate effectively. Exposure to international sourcing or importing will be advantageous, as will a solid understanding of outdoor, seasonal, or lifestyle categories. Strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to balance relationship management with delivery will be key to success.
