The a2 Milk Company is a ~$2B global business with a lean central marketing team supporting markets across ANZ, China, the US and international exports with China contributing a significant revenue line to the overall company.

With a new CMO onboard and a global masterbrand positioning underway, we are seeking a Marketing Manager – Brand & Communications to play a pivotal role in shaping, protecting and elevating the brand globally.

About the role
Reporting to the Group Head of Brand, this role sits at the centre of brand, corporate and internal communications. You will be responsible for driving a consistent global narrative, strengthening reputation, and delivering high-quality communications across multiple audiences.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop and embed a global brand communications strategy aligned to business priorities
  • Lead the corporate brand narrative, ensuring consistency across all markets and channels
  • Establish and govern brand messaging frameworks, tone of voice and communication guidelines
  • Partner with Investor Relations & Finance on annual reports, results, AGM and market communications
  • Lead media strategy, including proactive PR, issues and crisis communications
  • Drive internal communications and EVP activation, including intranet transformation
  • Manage and optimise corporate website and key digital platforms
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (Marketing, P&C, Science, Sustainability) to ensure aligned, credible messaging
About you
Ideally you will bring 7–10 years’ experience in FMCG brand marketing or a related sector such as health, nutrition, OTC or QSR, with a strong foundation in both brand strategy and integrated communications. You are an exceptional communicator, confident crafting compelling narratives across corporate, consumer and internal audiences, and comfortable managing agencies, budgets and multiple stakeholders. You have a proven ability to influence without authority within a matrixed environment and are equally comfortable thinking strategically and executing hands-on. Commercially minded and adaptable, you thrive in lean, fast-paced teams where you can take ownership, navigate ambiguity and deliver impact.
