Six Degrees Executive are excited to be partnering on a confidential search with a globally recognised FMCG business, known for its strong brand heritage, continued investment, and impressive growth within the Australian market. With a well-established presence and ambitious expansion plans, the business is focused on driving distribution, brand awareness, and long-term category growth.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a National Account Manager – Independents, based in Sydney’s North Shore. Reporting to a Senior Key Account Manager, this role will take ownership of key independent customers nationally, driving sustainable revenue growth, distribution expansion, and profitable commercial outcomes.

Key areas of responsibility include:
• Developing and executing annual and long-term customer strategies to deliver revenue, volume, and margin targets
• Leading Joint Business Planning processes with independent customers at both National and State level
• Managing promotional strategy and trade investment to ensure strong ROI and commercial discipline
• Driving distribution, ranging, and category growth through data-led insights and customer collaboration
• Owning full P&L accountability across assigned accounts, including forecasting, reporting, and financial performance
• Acting as the key commercial interface, building strong cross-functional relationships internally and externally

We’re looking for a commercially astute National Account Manager with experience across FMCG, ideally with exposure to the independent retail channel. You will bring strong financial acumen, a proven ability to manage trade investment, and a track record of delivering sustainable growth through effective customer partnerships. A strategic mindset, combined with a proactive, hands-on approach will be key to success in this role.
