Recent investment in systems and data capability has created an opportunity to better align finance with sales performance, driving improved commercial outcomes and more informed decision-making.

About the Role

This is a newly created position, designed to elevate commercial analytics capability and strengthen business partnering across the organisation.
Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will work closely with sales to provide insight into key performance drivers, particularly around margin, pricing, and trade spend. This is a high-visibility role with the opportunity to influence decision-making and step into a leadership capacity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales to understand and influence commercial performance drivers
  • Deliver insights across pricing, promotions, and trade spend effectiveness
  • Manage trade spend accounting, including accruals and reconciliations
  • Provide forward-looking analysis to support planning and forecasting
  • Challenge stakeholders to drive improved commercial outcomes
  • Act as a key link between finance and sales functions
  • Mentor and support a junior analyst
About You
  • Experience in commercial finance or business partnering (ideally FMCG or similar)
  • Strong understanding of margin drivers, pricing, and trade spend
  • Confident influencing and engaging senior stakeholders
  • Ability to move beyond reporting into actionable insights
  • Hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable in a dynamic environment
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
