Digital Campaign Manager

Location: sydney
Salary: $112000 per annum
Job Type: permanent
Contact: Nick Barry
I’m partnering with a fast‑growing crypto casino & sports betting brand looking for a Campaign Manager to own and drive their always‑on campaign calendar.
If you’re the kind of marketer who loves building structured, consistent, high‑impact campaign schedules, this role is built for you.
The opportunity The company is:
  • 18 months into operation,
  • Growing rapidly in betting volume and headcount,
  • About to launch into the US with a sweeps‑style product, and
  • Sponsoring BKFC (bare‑knuckle fighting) as part of its US launch strategy.
Right now, the gap in their marketing function is consistent campaign execution. You will be the person who fixes that.
What you’ll be doing
  • Own the campaign calendar:
    • Build and manage a 3–12 month campaign schedule (the “dream” is a full 12‑month outlook)
    • Ensure there’s always something meaningful running for players: promos, tournaments, themed events, seasonal campaigns (e.g. World Cup, sports seasons, new game launches)
  • Internal / player campaigns (core focus):
    • Plan and execute player‑facing campaigns across:
      • Email (via SendGrid)
      • On‑site banners & notifications
      • Discord announcements (2,000+ community)
      • On‑site pop‑ups and messages at login
    • Examples:
      • “World Cup is coming – here are our picks, promos, and odds”
      • “Upcoming weekend sports promos”
      • Casino promos, bonus spins, reload offers, VIP‑focused campaigns
  • Cross‑functional coordination:
    • Work closely with the Head of Marketing, Digital Marketing Specialist, and Social/Community Manager
    • Brief creatives, liaise with product/ops where needed, and make sure campaigns are set up correctly in the CRM and front end
  • Reporting & optimisation:
    • Track basic performance metrics (opens, clicks, engagement, player activity against campaigns)
    • Feed learnings back into the schedule so that campaigns improve over time
Channels & platforms
  • CRM: Fast Track
  • Email: SendGrid
  • SMS: Infobip (SMS is still developing; email/on‑site/Discord are the main levers)
Experience with any of these is a plus, but strong campaign/CRM logic is more important than specific tools.
What we’re looking for
Must-haves
  • Experience planning and running multi‑channel marketing campaigns (email, CRM, on‑site, or lifecycle/lifecycle-esque work)
  • Strong campaign discipline – you like calendars, structure and consistency
  • Excellent coordination and follow‑through skills – you make sure campaigns go out on time and as planned
  • Comfortable working in a startup environment: things move quickly, and you’re not afraid to get hands‑on
Preferred industry background
  • Gaming / sports betting / online casino / sportsbook is ideal
  • FinTech / crypto is the next best fit due to audience and behavioural similarities
  • Otherwise, a strong CRM / campaign marketer who’s excited to learn the category
Location, salary & flexibility
  • Salary: around $100k + super (with some flexibility)
  • Location: open to remote across Australia, with a preference for Sydney‑based candidates, but performance and capability will trump location
