We’re partnering with a well-established and growing Australian food manufacturer to appoint a National Account Manager responsible for leading key grocery relationships across Coles, Woolworths, Aldi, and Metcash. With a strong heritage as a family-owned business, they’ve built a solid reputation in the market and are now entering an exciting phase of evolution and growth. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys both strategic thinking and rolling up their sleeves to make a tangible impact.
About The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, you’ll take ownership of major retail accounts representing a significant portion of the business. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing account strategies, leading commercial negotiations, and driving growth across ranging, promotions, and product development initiatives. The role requires a strong in-market presence, working closely with customers while collaborating internally to ensure execution across all touchpoints. With dedicated admin support, you’ll balance both the strategic and day-to-day elements of account management, while also contributing to broader business improvement and turnaround initiatives.
About You
You’ll bring experience managing major grocery accounts, particularly Coles and/or Woolworths within an FMCG environment. Exposure to short shelf-life categories will be highly regarded. You’re someone who thrives in a hands-on setting, is commercially astute, and comfortable navigating a fast-paced, evolving business. A proactive mindset, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to move between strategy and execution will set you up for success in this role.
