About the Role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this role will be responsible for managing and growing key automotive retail accounts across Australia. You will take ownership of an established portfolio, circa $10m, with a clear mandate to drive significant growth through existing national retailers and independent channels. Working closely with internal stakeholders across sales, marketing, supply chain and operations, you will lead customer relationships, execute product launches and develop strategic plans that strengthen market presence and deliver commercial outcomes.
You will build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, working closely with buyers and category managers to identify growth opportunities and maximise category performance. The role will involve managing product launches, driving account plans, overseeing promotional activity and ensuring the successful execution of customer initiatives. You will be responsible for growing an existing portfolio while identifying opportunities to expand distribution, increase market share and strengthen customer engagement. Working collaboratively across the business, you will help ensure supply continuity, deliver exceptional customer service and support the long-term growth objectives of the retail channel.
Skills & Experience
This role would suite a National Account Manager with a proven track record managing large retail customers and driving growth within established accounts. Experience within automotive, consumer products, FMCG, hardware or related industries will be highly regarded, although not essential. The successful candidate will be a confident relationship builder with strong commercial acumen and the ability to engage effectively with buyers and category managers. You will bring a hands-on, collaborative approach, thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy taking ownership of customer outcomes.
