Engineering Lead
About the company
Six Degrees Executive is partnering with a Brisbane-based manufacturing business to recruit an Engineering Lead for their local operation.
The business designs and manufactures specialised industrial products for a range of commercial and heavy industry applications. They are in a strong commercial position, with continued revenue growth, strong margins and an increasing focus on their own product range.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys practical manufacturing, technical problem-solving, product development and improving engineering systems.
About the role
The Engineering Lead will take ownership of the engineering function and help bring structure, consistency and improved technical discipline across engineering, manufacturing support, product development and process improvement.
The role will lead and mentor a small engineering team while working closely with Operations, Sales and Marketing to ensure customer requirements, product design and manufacturing capability are aligned.
This role would suit someone who can improve process and accountability without overcomplicating things.
