Our client is a fast-growing distributor and brand partner within the beauty, haircare and personal care sectors, representing a portfolio of innovative and emerging brands across the Australian market. With strong retailer partnerships and an exciting pipeline of growth opportunities, the business is entering a significant expansion phase and is seeking a commercially driven National Account Manager to help shape the next stage of its success.
 
About the Role

Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, this role offers the opportunity to operate as a true commercial partner within the sales function. You will take ownership of several strategically important retail and pharmacy accounts, with a particular focus on Priceline, while also managing relationships across major retailers including Kmart, Target, Big W and Amazon. You will play a critical role in driving retailer engagement, leading the JBP process, identifying growth opportunities and contributing to the broader commercial strategy of the business. You will also provide guidance and support to a Sales & Marketing Assistant, helping to develop capability within a collaborative and entrepreneurial team environment. As a key member of the commercial team, you will contribute to strategic planning, support new product launches and play an active role in building brand awareness and accelerating growth within the Australian market.
 
Skills & experience

To be successful in this role, you will bring proven National Account Management experience across retail and/or pharmacy channels, with the ability to manage key customer relationships autonomously and deliver strong commercial outcomes. Previous experience working with Priceline or broader pharmacy networks will be highly regarded. Exposure to beauty, haircare, personal care or adjacent consumer goods categories is preferred, along with strong analytical and commercial capabilities. You will be confident interpreting data, developing strategic account plans and translating insights into actionable growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will be commercially astute, relationship-driven and entrepreneurial in their approach. You will enjoy working within a lean, growing business where you can make a genuine impact, take ownership and contribute beyond the scope of a traditional National Account Manager role.
