Six Degrees is partnering with a Queensland Government client to recruit an AO6/1 Program Manager for a short-term contract supporting a key operational improvement initiative.

Overview:
  • AO6 Program Manager
  • $79.17 per hour + Super
  • Brisbane CBD
  • Contract: 3 Months (Possible extension)
This role sits within a government service delivery environment focused on improving aged work order processes and reducing backlog across Southeast Queensland.
You will work closely with regional teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders to identify process gaps and implement practical workflow improvements.

Reporting into a senior operational lead, this is a hands-on role requiring strong process mapping and stakeholder engagement capability.

As the Program Manager, you will:
  • Lead process review and mapping activities
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and gaps
  • Develop improved workflows and process documentation
  • Support backlog reduction initiatives
  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders
  • Coordinate across multiple teams to drive outcomes
Selection Criteria:
The ideal candidate will bring experience in process improvement, service delivery environments, and stakeholder engagement. Experience working within government or infrastructure environments will be highly regarded, along with strong capability in facilitating workshops and producing clear process documentation.
