About the role

The Production Manager will lead a sizeable (100+) workforce at a key site in the national network. Running in a 24/7 environment, this fast paced environment is supported by a growing portfolio of frontline leaders, a strong safety and quality record and a site leader with strong tenure in the business. You'll be tasked with driving key accountabilities across: 
  • Safety - resourced well at site and network level, you'll be tasked with continuing to foster a safe workforce in a high-risk environment 
  • Quality - measured against both acceptable best practice and fostering a CI mindset across the business
  • Development - the enablement of growth of both the frontline leaders as well as the operational workforce, with a strong historic success rate of internal promotions across the business 
  • Processing performance - output, efficiencies, labour utilisation


What we are looking for 
  • Demostrated Production leadership expereince within fast paced manufacturing environments - FMCG, packaging, etc.
  • Strong change management capaility, particularly as they relate to implementation of new projects/processes
  • People-centric leadership skills, someone able to engage workforce both up and down the organisational hierarchy
  • Sound commercial acumen
