Our client, BFT (Body Fit Training), is a global fitness franchise delivering science-backed group strength and conditioning programs through a rapidly expanding international network of studios. Built on high-energy coached workouts and a strong community-led member experience, BFT sits at the intersection of fitness, franchising, and lifestyle brand building, with significant global growth momentum and a highly scalable model dependent on strong brand consistency and local market activation. This is a rare opportunity for a senior marketing leader to shape a globally recognised fitness brand at scale, driving both consumer demand and franchise growth across digital, studio, and community ecosystems.
 
ROLE OVERVIEW
As Head of Marketing at BFT, you will act as the strategic architect and driving force behind the global brand, marketing ecosystem, and community growth agenda. You will own the end-to-end execution of BFT’s marketing strategy across all touchpoints from studio experience and digital platforms through to global campaigns, franchise marketing, and strategic partnerships. Leading a high-performing internal team and agency partners, you will ensure BFT continues to scale as a category-defining brand in global fitness, driving member acquisition, retention, and franchise success.
 
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own and evolve global brand strategy and governance, ensuring consistent identity across all markets, franchises, and touchpoints
  • Lead studio design and in-studio brand experience, partnering with operations and design teams to elevate member engagement and physical environments
  • Oversee apparel and merchandise strategy, driving creative direction and commercial performance to strengthen brand affinity and advocacy
  • Lead digital ecosystem performance, including website optimisation and user journeys to drive franchise leads and member acquisition
  • Develop and execute high-impact global and localised social media strategies to grow community engagement and brand authority
  • Deliver integrated global marketing campaigns supporting member growth, studio launches, and brand awareness
  • Manage and evolve the Certified Agency Program, ensuring agency partners are aligned, trained, and delivering localised franchise growth outcomes
  • Lead strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and ambassador programs to enhance brand positioning and market reach
  • Own PR and communications strategy across global and regional markets, including media relations, brand storytelling, and crisis communications
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a multidisciplinary marketing team, driving capability, performance, and delivery excellence
 
KEY REQUIREMENTS
  • 10+ years’ marketing experience across franchise, multi-site, fitness, retail, or hospitality-led businesses
  • Strong background in brand strategy, omnichannel marketing, campaigns, PR, social, partnerships, and communications
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing, ecommerce, and agency management
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and operating at ELT level
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with strong operational execution
  • Strong creative judgement with the ability to originate and deliver impactful ideas
  • Experience in multi-market or international environments highly regarded
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and ability to influence across complex franchise structures
