Six Degrees is partnering with a Queensland Government client to recruit AO4/AO5 Leasing Officers & Leasing Coordinators to support the delivery and management of government accommodation and leased property portfolios.

  • Immediate start
  • 3-month contract with possible extension
Our client is seeking candidates with experience in commercial property, leasing, tenancy coordination, facilities management, accommodation services, property administration to support a busy government property team. You will work with internal teams, external stakeholders and property-related systems to assist with lease administration, portfolio coordination, reporting, correspondence and stakeholder advice.

Reporting into the Leasing Team, these roles would suit candidates with experience across commercial property, government accommodation, facilities coordination, tenancy management, lease administration, contract administration or property portfolio support.

As the Leasing Officer / Leasing Coordinator, you will:
  • Support the coordination and management of leased office accommodation
  • Assist with lease administration, negotiation support and portfolio management activities
  • Liaise with internal departments, landlords, agents and external stakeholders
  • Prepare briefing notes, correspondence, reports and property-related documentation
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting information
  • Research market conditions, property data and portfolio information
  • Maintain leasing, tenancy and financial management systems
  • Support accommodation projects, policy implementation and process improvements
Selection Criteria:
To be successful, you will bring experience in leasing, commercial property, facilities, tenancy coordination, contract administration or government accommodation support. You will have strong written and verbal communication skills, confidence working with internal and external stakeholders, and the ability to interpret information, manage competing priorities and provide practical advice. Experience with lease management systems, property data, reporting, budgeting or commercial office accommodation will be highly regarded.

Industry-related qualifications in property, business, real estate, facilities management or similar would be beneficial but are not essential.
