Our client is a well-established and growing FMCG business with a strong presence across Grocery and Retail channels. With continued investment across commercial capability and customer growth, the business is expanding its sales function and has created multiple opportunities for National Account Executives to join the team.

Reporting into the National Business Manager / Head of Sales, these roles are designed for commercially minded individuals looking to build a long-term career within National Accounts. You’ll gain exposure across major Grocery customers while taking ownership of selected Independent and Discount accounts, giving you the opportunity to develop account management capability alongside strong commercial foundations.

Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting National Account Managers with the day-to-day management of key Grocery accounts
• Managing a portfolio of Independent and Discount customers to build ownership and customer-facing experience
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships to drive engagement and long-term growth
• Managing contracts, pricing, promotional activity and maintaining account data accuracy
• Coordinating promotional execution and tracking pricing and activity performance in market
• Supporting customer tenders, NLF management and customer administration requirements
• Working cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Logistics and internal stakeholders to deliver customer outcomes
• Monitoring sales performance, identifying opportunities and contributing to account growth plans
• Supporting the preparation of customer presentations, proposals and commercial reviews
• Assisting with forecasting, reporting and broader account planning activities

We’re looking for ambitious and commercially curious individuals who enjoy balancing customer interaction with the operational and administrative side of National Accounts. This role would suit someone who enjoys being in the detail but is equally motivated by building relationships and developing toward full account ownership.
You’ll bring:

• Experience in Sales Support, Account Executive, Customer Development, Category, Sales Analyst or National Account Executive environments
• Strong organisation and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Commercial curiosity and a desire to learn how major Grocery accounts operate
• Strong analytical capability with confidence working across data, promotions and reporting
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• A proactive attitude with genuine ambition to progress within FMCG Sales
