Role Overview:
This is a newly created leadership position, established to build and lead the internal Sales team from the ground up. Reporting to the National Sales & Marketing Manager, you'll lead a team of 3-4 Business Development Representatives, designing and executing targeted outbound sales campaigns, customer engagement strategies and data-driven initiatives to drive retention, reactivate dormant accounts and grow revenue. It's a role that blends hands-on leadership with strong analytical thinking, ideal for someone who enjoys building structure, driving performance and getting results through their team.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Internal Business Development Representatives
  • Design and implement a structured outbound sales and customer engagement program
  • Analyse customer, product and sales data to identify and convert growth opportunities
  • Develop targeted campaigns across retention, reactivation, cross-sell and upsell
  • Establish KPI frameworks, call management processes and campaign tracking
  • Leverage AI tools and data analytics to improve forecasting and campaign effectiveness
  • Collaborate closely with Field Sales, Customer Service and internal stakeholders
 
Skills & Attributes:
  • Proven experience leading an outbound, inside sales or customer engagement team
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to turn data into commercial action
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence using AI tools in a sales environment
  • Experience building or improving outbound sales programs and engagement strategies
  • A hands-on leader who enjoys developing people and driving team performance
  • Industry background is not essential; the ability to build scalable sales programs and leverage data is what matters most
