This newly created role offers the opportunity to help shape and establish the editorial operating model that will underpin future growth and customer engagement.

About the role
Reporting to the Digital Channel Manager, the Editorial Specialist will play a critical role in establishing and governing the organisation's editorial operating model.
Working across digital, marketing, content and business stakeholders, you will be responsible for bringing structure, governance and consistency to the way content is planned, produced, published and optimised across multiple channels and audiences.Key responsibilities include:
  • Owning and managing editorial workflows from idea through to publication and performance review
  • Establishing editorial rhythms, planning processes and content calendars
  • Driving content governance, quality control and publishing standards
  • Coordinating stakeholders, SMEs and content teams across the business
  • Embedding SEO best practice, search intent and discoverability principles into content workflows
  • Managing taxonomy, metadata, tagging and content structure requirements
  • Supporting content performance measurement, optimisation and refresh cycles
  • Building scalable processes that improve content quality, consistency and effectiveness
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
  • Experience in editorial operations, content strategy, content governance, digital marketing or publishing environments
  • Demonstrated experience establishing editorial processes, workflows and operating rhythms
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles, search intent, metadata and digital publishing best practice
  • Experience managing content calendars, governance frameworks and stakeholder workflows
  • Strong knowledge of CMS environments, taxonomy and content structures
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing capability
  • The ability to operate autonomously within a complex and evolving environment
Backgrounds from digital, publishing, retail, financial services, higher education, government or other complex stakeholder environments will be highly regarded.Culture
