Six Degrees Executive are excited to be partnering with a globally recognised food manufacturer to support the growth of its Australian Foodservice business.
As part of an exciting investment into the Australian market, our client is expanding its field sales capability, creating an opportunity for an experienced Business Development Executive to join the team on an initial 12-month contract. More than just a contract role, this position has been created as part of a long-term growth strategy, with a genuine opportunity to influence the future direction of the field sales function and the potential to extend beyond the initial term.


Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will focus on developing new business opportunities across the HORECA channel throughout Queensland or New South Wales. This is a true hunter role where you'll identify, engage and convert end-user customers while working closely alongside national distributor partners.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing new business opportunities across pubs, clubs, restaurants, bars, sporting venues and hospitality groups.
  • Building relationships with business owners, venue operators, head chefs and key decision-makers.
  • Driving end-user demand while partnering closely with national foodservice distributors.
  • Executing structured territory plans to maximise market coverage and conversion.
  • Managing and growing newly won accounts into long-term commercial partnerships.
  • Providing market intelligence and identifying new opportunities to drive sustainable growth.

We're looking for someone who thrives in front of customers and genuinely enjoys winning new business. You may currently be working within Foodservice, HORECA, hospitality, liquor, convenience or another customer-facing commercial environment where relationship building and business development are at the heart of your success.
To be successful you'll bring:

  • Proven business development experience within Foodservice, Hospitality, On-Premise Liquor or a related industry.
  • Confidence engaging with venue owners, chefs and hospitality operators.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a genuine passion for building long-term customer relationships.
  • A self-motivated, resilient and proactive approach to territory management.
  • The ability to work autonomously whilst remaining highly accountable.
  • A down-to-earth attitude with strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative, no-ego approach.
