AO5 Advisor (Program Performance)

We're excited to be partnering with a large QLD Government Department in the recruitment of an Advisor (Program Performance) to provide high-level support services to project managers and team members, enhancing the timely and effective delivery of programs and projects across the region.

Working within a regional program governance function, you'll play a key role in supporting governance meeting preparation, tracking project change control, and maintaining the integrity of program data and reporting across the region.

As the Advisor, you will:
  • Prepare governance meeting materials (agendas, papers, briefing materials) for regional and statewide steering committees and boards
  • Manage minutes, actions, and escalation pathways, supporting rapid turnaround of requests
  • Maintain program/project change control documentation
  • Track and close governance actions
  • Monitor and update risk, issue, and dependency registers to support governance reporting
  • Provide administrative continuity and ensure critical activities are finalised
  • Support capacity planning and effective utilisation of senior subject matter experts
  • Standardise and validate the completeness, consistency and accuracy of program data used for reporting and governance
  • Support region-wide consistency in program oversight and improve audit readiness and accountability
Selection Criteria:
  • Proven expertise in a comparable support role, with high-level written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly proficient in the current Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced capability in Excel (data analysis, reporting) and PowerPoint (executive reporting)
  • Demonstrated experience in program or project controls, reporting, or governance support in a complex delivery environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and synthesise program data into meaningful insights
  • High attention to detail, particularly in data validation, reporting accuracy, and governance documentation
  • Experience using project/program management and reporting systems (e.g. registers, dashboards, SharePoint, or similar)
