About the company
Our client is one of Australia's leading institutions, currently undertaking a significant transformation across its Marketing, Digital & Experience function.
As part of this transformation, a newly established Digital Experience team has been created to reshape how customers engage across a highly complex digital ecosystem. This is a rare opportunity to help define the future operating model, lead a multidisciplinary team and influence digital strategy at enterprise scale.

About the role
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this newly created leadership role is responsible for shaping the organisation's digital experience strategy across websites, digital platforms and customer experience initiatives.
Rather than simply managing web operations, you'll lead the evolution of Digital Experience by partnering across Marketing, Customer Journey, Lifecycle, Analytics and Technology teams to deliver a modern, customer-led digital ecosystem.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading and developing a multidisciplinary Digital Experience team.
  • Developing digital experience strategy, governance and operating models.
  • Driving website, UX and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Partnering closely with Technology to deliver scalable digital solutions.
  • Embedding customer-centred design, accessibility and continuous improvement.
  • Identifying opportunities to leverage emerging technologies, including AI, to enhance future digital experiences.
Skills & Experience
You'll bring experience leading Digital Experience, Digital Product or Web functions within a complex organisation, together with:
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary digital teams.
  • Large-scale website or digital transformation experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management across Marketing and Technology.
  • Experience developing digital strategy and operating models.
  • Commercial mindset with a passion for customer experience.
  • Ability to influence and lead through change.
