As a brand, they are very much a market-leader in their category, with decades of success and a much-loved product portfolio. As a result of some exciting change in the business, this critical manufacturing leadership role exists to steer operations at a complex manufacturing site.
The Role
Reporting to a key C-Suite stakeholder, this role will have full end-to-end responsibility of site manufacturing and operational outcomes, leading all functions across Production/Maintenance/Safety/Warehousing and Logistics functions. The mandate itself, focused on capability uplift across people, process and systems in pursuit of further manufacturing success.
You'll be responsible for driving safe, efficiency and high-performing manufacturing outcomes, while building a strong culture of engagement and performance. Key focus areas include:

The Role

You'll be responsible for driving safe, efficiency and high-performing manufacturing outcomes, while building a strong culture of engagement and performance. Key focus areas include:
- Operational Leadership - driving a safe, efficient and high-performing site culture while building strong engagement across all levels of the business
- Cross-functional engagement - partnering with multi-functional leads to meet clearly defined targets around safety/quality/cost/delivery
- Continuous Improvement - identifying opportunities to "work smarter not harder", driving out cost and inefficiencies while investing in new technology and automation to sharpen the pencil.
What we are looking for?
- Strong background in Production/Site Leadership roles, ideally within food/FMCG manufacturing
- Proven experience in capability uplift or change-management mandates, you'll be able to speak to transformation outcomes or deliverables met
- Experience in developing further people capability across your direct reporting line
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills - you're a high EQ leader and are able to translate this from shopfloor to C-suite
- High level of autonomy and desire to drive best practice in a complex processing environment.
