PMO Lead

Great opportunity to join a newly created organisation to assist them with setting up their process, systems and ways of working. Based in their CBD offices you will be responsible for:

  • Rapidly develop a comprehensive understanding of the organisation's transformation strategy, business objectives, program road-map, key milestones, risks etc
  • Provide high-quality end-to-end support to the Regional PMO Lead, driving the coordination, reporting, and execution of strategic transformation initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level reporting, presentations, dashboards, and performance updates for senior leadership, ensuring clear communication of progress, risks, issues, and key decisions.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional transformation teams to identify, assess, and resolve program challenges, escalating risks and recommending practical solutions to support successful delivery.
  • Facilitate alignment across multiple business functions, fostering effective collaboration and ensuring stakeholders remain informed and accountable.
  • Collaborate with external consulting partners to translate strategic recommendations into actionable business outcomes, ensuring deliverables are aligned with organisational priorities and functional requirements.
 
To be successful you will ideally possess
  • Demonstrated experience supporting complex business transformation, strategic projects, or enterprise-wide change initiatives
  • Highly adaptable and agile, with the ability to quickly understand new topics, navigate ambiguity, and operate effectively in evolving environments.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all organisational levels, including senior executives.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel capabilities, with experience developing executive-quality presentations, dashboards, reports, and data-driven insights.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse business functions and external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes with limited supervision.
 
Some additional skills that might be useful include
  • Experience operating within PMO, Program Management, Transformation, or Change Management functions.
  • Commercial acumen and understanding of business performance drivers.
  • Ability to analyse, synthesise, and present complex information in a concise and compelling manner.
  • Proven track record of influencing outcomes without direct authority.
