Our client is a global snacking business with brands sold in more than 60 countries, spanning both indulgent and better-for-you categories. Founded almost a century ago, the group now turns over more than EUR 1 billion a year and employs over 4,000 people across 13 factories and 17 sales offices.  In Australia, the business is building out its own local team in Sydney. It’s a small, close-knit operation where each person’s contribution is seen and heard, backed by the resources of a global group.

The role of Customer Service will be the link between a dedicated set of retail and away-from-home customers and the internal teams who get product onto shelves. You’ll make sure orders are processed, planned, shipped and invoiced on time, and that customer questions and problems are resolved quickly.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Owning the daily order flow for your customer portfolio, from order entry through to delivery and invoicing
  • Managing customer administration including orders, EDI, invoices, logistics planning, certificates, customer files and complaints
  • Working closely with planning, warehousing and transport partners to keep deliveries on time and in full
  • Taking a proactive approach to resolving issues and suggesting process improvements as the local operation grows
We’re looking for
  • Experience in customer service, order management or logistics coordination, ideally within FMCG or food service
  • Knowledge of import/export documentation and processes
  • Experience with SAP and strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Degree educated
  • A hands-on, organised approach and the ability to manage several priorities at once
  • Clear, confident communication with customers and internal stakeholders
  • A team player who enjoys solving problems and wants to grow with the business
What’s on offer
  • $80,000 - $100,000 + super
  • The chance to join a well-known global FMCG group at an early stage of its local growth
  • A small Sydney team with visible impact and direct access to senior leadership
  • A role shaped around your strengths, with development opportunities across an international business
  • Based in the Sydney CBD
