Workday HRIS Lead
If you’ve led Workday remediation after a difficult go-live, you’ll know how rare it is to be brought in while the platform is stable and functional. This six-month contract is that opportunity. You’ll review Workday HCM that has been live for several years, define what good looks like, and set the HR systems direction for the future.
What you’ll be doing
→ Running a full Workday health check across configuration, business processes, workflows and data quality
→ Working with HR leadership to prioritise the findings and agree what gets fixed now and what can wait
→ Leading remediation of the core Workday foundations alongside a capable in-house HRIS team
→ Building a data governance framework that keeps the platform aligned to Workday best practice and reduces reliance on customisation
→ Setting the HRIS strategy and a two-year HR systems roadmap the internal team can carry forward
What’s in it for you
You’ll own the work end to end, and your recommendations will shape how the platform and the team operate well beyond your contract. You’ll have a direct line to HR leadership and a sponsor who has already backed the case for outside expertise, so your advice will be heard and acted on.
You won’t be starting from scratch. The existing team includes a senior Workday specialist with deep knowledge of the business and a data and analytics lead who works across the Workday data. Line management of the team stays with the HR leader, which keeps your time focused on the work itself.
What you’ll bring
→ Workday HCM optimisation or remediation experience after go-live, gained as an HRIS Lead, HRIS Manager, Workday consultant or in a similar HR systems role
→ Experience across more than one Workday environment, with a clear view of what a well-run system looks like
→ A track record building data governance frameworks and HRIS roadmaps
→ Confidence presenting findings and recommendations to executive sponsors
→ Strong project management and leadership and the ability to work alongside an established internal team
Interviews are being scheduled now for an immediate start. Please apply NOW.
