About the opportunity  
 
This key critical hands on leadership role will report directly to the MD of the business and form part of the Executive Leadership Team, the Executive Manager of Sales & Marketing will lead a small and dynamic sales & marketing function at a national level, the core mandate of the role will be to look at medium/long term into the future of the go to market strategy of the organisation to implement systems, processes and customer engagement activities that will have a positive impact on the future growth of the company.
 
What we are looking for
  • You will be a highly successful executive sales leader who enjoys working in “Brave not Perfect” environments
  • Even though my client has a reasonably open mind to what good talent looks like, the successful candidate will come from an aligned market (Industrial Capital Equipment) – Construction Equipment, Materials Handling, Waste & Recycling Equipment, Transport Equipment and suppliers to that industry or Agricultural Equipment
  • You will have a clear track record of setting simple, sales systems, processes and key account management plans that will have a lasting impact on the growth of the business now and into the future
  • A commercially astute leader, with exceptional negotiation skills with a collaborative and down to earth leadership style
