About the Role  
The key responsibility of the role is to facilitate continuous improvement methodologies and projects within operations team. You will be involved in supporting the delivery of improved value and greater efficiency through the identification and elimination of unnecessary waste within the businesses processes and implementation of better and more sustainable ways of working. In conjunction with the Operations leadership team the CI Coordinator will, prepare, communicate and roll out the Continuous Improvement strategy for Operations.
 
Critical to the role will be the capability to work hands on with the team and build overall CI engagement across the site, supporting all areas of operations in improving efficiencies. They will create strong working relationships across Operational leaders and help facilitate LEAN/process improvement based activities and workshops to drive ideas and solutions.
 
 
Skills & Experiences  
This is an exciting and integral role within the business and your experience and skill set will include the following:   
  • Relevant tertiary degree, Engineering or Science 
  • Ability to see new and creative ways of improving processes. 
  • Proven experience in driving CI projects / activities at a manufacturing 
  • Ability to create momentum across the floor. 
  • Experience in continuous improvement and lean techniques 
  • Demonstrated ability to influence teams to achieve outcomes. 
  • Effective communication – verbal and written.
