Operations Manager
Working with one oa Australia's leading speciality manufacturer/installer of bespoke interior fit-outs for hospitality venues. They continue to grow at a fast pace and this year expect a 30% increase in sales. Due to this increase the owners have created this Operations Manager role to provide a solid structure and support to the team with a focus to grow the factories ability to produce more without compromising profits or quality while also being responsible for ensuring day to day operation run smooth, effective, on time and profitable.

The main areas of responsibility include
- Ensure jobs are delivered on time, on budget in high quality
- Troubleshoot any engineering, manufacturing, project issues that may arise
- Communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions
- Ensuring all business systems are working and being used as designed
- Improving on systems and processes
- Manage and analysing quotes from suppliers to increase company profits
- Recruiting staff and managing their performance
- Analyse and improve organisational process and work-flow
- Ensuring managers, supervisors and staff adhere to policies and procedures
- Serve as primary point of contact when there are customer issues related to their project.
- Following the company’s Work Health and Safety policies and procedures and being proactive in ensuring a safe and healthy work-site for self and other staff
