Role Overview:
The Customer Lifecycle & Retention Marketing Manager is responsible for creating, executing and evolving the strategy for customer re-engagement and retention for our client.
Projects and Remit:
- Lead the strategy for re-engagement, retention and activation across email and in-app channels
- Ensure cross-functional alignment on the strategic plan for re-engagement and retention and provide input into broader business strategic plans
- Build the capabilities of the customer engagement platform, ensuring features and value is being optimised and a deep technical knowledge of the platform is maintained
- Work with the Product and Development teams to ensure that the platform structure and architecture works seamlessly across the organisation and captures all the required information at key points in the customer life-cycle
- Gather and analyze data to identify patterns, behaviors and opportunities
- Proactively identify and lead strategies for the retention of key customer cohorts and segments
- Define the customer re-engagement and retention goals and leading a cross-functional team across Brand, Content and Product to execute
- Manage and executing a program of 1:1 communications that includes weekly engagement drivers, always-on and triggered/automated communications
- Apply a continual cycle of test-and-learn to drive growth and performance improvements
Ideal Candidate:
- 5+ years’ experience in CRM, Customer Engagement or Customer Retention
- Deep hands-on knowledge of customer engagement platforms
- Experience in mobile first, B2C or subscription business
- A confident and articulate communicator capable of inspiring strong cross functional, team and partner/supplier collaboration
- Insights led, customer-focussed digital marketer, who is adaptable and excels in a fast-paced environment
