This has created the opportunity for a seasoned head of manufacturing to come and take the reins of an organisation creating it's identity and culture and striving for excellence in everything that they do.

As head of manufacturing your role will have the responsibility and authority for the short-, medium-, and long-term planning and operation of the Lisarow Plant. You will contribute to the ongoing development of the Sara Lee business strategy, contribute to the reduction of total delivered cost (TDC).  You will Lead the Production, Maintenance, Warehouse, Quality and Engineering functions to ensure optimal plant performance.

Your success in this role will be helped by having:
  • Relevant industry qualifications
  • Previous Management experience preferably in a similar Manufacturing environment.
  • Validated knowledge of Plant Safety, GMP, HACCP, and Quality Systems
  • Validated results for continuous improvement initiatives
  • Experience within a Bakery Operation would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience in budgeting and scheduling
