About the role
This is a business-critical role that is responsible for leading the “customer experience” for the brand across all touch points including customer care. Managing a team of two and acting as a support to the GM Marketing you will play a key role in the company’s future growth ambitions the core objectives such as; driving the integrated marketing planning process, leading national & local initiatives, increasing brand affinity and driving customer engagement. In addition, you will own the communication of the brand’s purpose with a simplified brand architecture and activations across events, digital media such as social, PR and CSR initiatives. You will also set in place the strong foundations of a marketing engagement strategy alongside the marketing department which capitalize on the existing assets of the business while looking for new ways to improve the customer experience and offering.  This role will play a key lead in the strategic delivery and will act as the ongoing brand custodian. 
 
About You
You are a degree qualified, a savvy senior marketing leader with 5+ years’ experience in strategically focused marketing roles. You have a creative eye, you enjoy following consumer trends, and know how to commercialize these for the consumer.  With deep experience in launching go-to-market plans and developing new propositions, you have multi-channel experience and love utilizing customer insights to drive strategic outcomes.   You have strong stakeholder management skills – you are at ease working with cross functional teams such as ecommerce and product.
 
Skills & Experience
  • Prior leadership management of integrated teams (3+ team members)
  • Experience in managing campaign activations 
  • Proven examples of delivering growth and commercial outcomes within organizations
  • Expert in delivering earned media strategies (omni-channel)
  • Passionate about CSR / Advocacy programmes
  • Background in managing PR for big brands across retail, fashion, beauty, food / consumer products
  • Has operated within a fast-paced environment
  • A practical can do approach, performance focused
  • Comfortable with making budgets go a long way for a big impact.
  • Innovative thinker about new approaches to events and relationships
  • A focus on customer experience and the power of getting it right.
  • Personal connect to lifestyle, outdoors, music, street, food, fashion, and youth culture.
