Head of Sales - ANZ
About the business
Our client is a privately owned retail technology and analytics company that has seen unprecedented growth over the last few years. The business commercially launched in 2017 and saw significant growth in the first couple of years leading to Series A funding in 2019. After seeing double digit growth over the past 18 months the business has recently secured Series B funding which gives the capacity for further scale. This is an exciting period as we search for a Head of Sales – ANZ, to continue and accelerate the growth trajectory that the company has been on.
About the role
This is a newly created multi-faceted role that will report directly to the Managing Director. As Head of Sales – ANZ, the primary objective of this role is to build out a sophisticated and structured sales methodology, manage CRM usage, set both short term and long term sales targets whilst delivering continued top-line growth. Working closely with the Managing Director, you will assist in building out the sales team, decide on hiring, team structure and budgets. This role is a hands-on customer facing role which will require an individual that is still readily entrenched with key customers but also has the skill set and proven experience to build the robust sales machine for the business.
About you
To be successful in this role you will be an established sales leader who has ideally worked in both start-up and large business environments. The successful candidate will have experience working as a sales leader across Technology or SAAS businesses and has a proven track record ideally in a start up or scale up environment.
Degreed qualified, you will have outstanding commercial acumen that will be evident in your success within strategic planning and be a natural leader and influencer that has a true passion on nurturing others. This role will suit someone with a growth mindset who thrives working in a fast paced, agile collaborative environment. This is an opportunity to take full ownership for the sales strategy and assist in building a sophisticated sales model for the business.
