AO5-AO6 Program Assessor / Grants Officer - EOI

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Conduct initial review or assessment of the evidence, research and administrative documentation for accuracy and completeness, to support funding submissions, program performance or inspections, utilising  policies and procedures.
  • Assess, analyse and provide advice regarding the delivered outcomes of grants and projects.
  • Liaise with applicants or delivery agencies to clarify documentation and obtain additional information, where evidence and administrative documentation is missing, inconsistent or inaccurate.
  • Conduct supplementary research to support the delivery of robust assessments in a grants context.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders particularly state funding agencies, state and local government applicants and delivery agencies.
  • Undertake related project and other duties of equivalent complexity as required.
  • Work under limited supervision, using a high level of initiative to resolve issues.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
  • Has demonstrated experience in a similar role.
  • Background in grants, insurance and/or compliance highly regarded.
  • Has demonstrated experience in processing submissions and research of submissions.
  • Able to work autonomously.
  • Proven ability to manage internal and external relationships.
  • Written and verbal communication is clear and concise.
  • Displays rigour in analysis of information relevant to tasks.
