This organisation is a global food business with a market leading Australian position and footprint, manufacturing highly sustainable innovative food products across several categories and channels (branded/ private label) including grocery, speciality and direct to consumer.

The role
As GM you will report to the Group CEO/Executive Chair and have full P&L responsibility for this division of consumer food products.
The role is based in regional NSW/VIC (a commute from Sydney or Melbourne will not be possible) managing the full P&L including a manufacturing operation, sales, marketing, finance etc.
The mandate is scale and growth into local and international markets including the USA and China. With an already established portfolio of over 400 SKUs, and with ranging in local grocery, speciality retail, international retail, and e commerce partners, you will optimise the range, drive efficiency across the manufacturing plant to maximise profitability, and position the organisation for large scale growth.
A highly commercial, customer facing and growth orientated role locally and globally, you will lead all functions in a direct and matrix structure including finance, sales, marketing, and operations.
Your background
You will have come from a food manufacturing consumer environment (FMCG). You will be at the GM, Divisional GM or MD level having run a P&L. Further you will be experienced dealing directly with customers (grocery) and ideally experienced in export markets (China / USA) as well as e commerce. Driving NPD and working across a manufacturing plant will also be key.
