About the company
Our client is a medium FMCG business who need support in their commercial team for a short term contract. 


About the role
This 3-month contract role based in Chadstone assumes responsibility for FP&A of the business unit as well as the leadership of the commercial finance team. Leading a team of 2 and reporting to the CFO, you will be a key business partner to the sales, marketing and operations teams and ensure commercial support and oversight to achieve objectives. The role will involve:
  • Managing the planning and reporting cycles, including daily reporting and month end close
  • Providing commercial insight into strategic objectives and supporting business deliverables
  • Leading commercial due diligence on potential M&A targets
  • Identifying opportunities to leverage a suite of newly implemented reporting and planning tools

About you
  • Experience working in FMCG manufacturing
  • At least 10 years experience in a variety of roles (commercial experience essential)
  • CPA/CA
  • Experience working cross-functionally within finance and business teams
  • Ability to join the dots and make recommendations in a fast moving global business environment
