About the role
This business-critical senior leadership role will see the successful Regional Manager take full control and responsibility for the operational running and growth if the Vic/Tas business, reporting to a highly accomplished and capable Executive General Manager based interstate, you will have direct leadership reports across Sales, Operations, Technical and Major Bids along with another team of indirect reports of forty plus. The core mandate of the role will be to set and implement simple, systems and processes that will have a lasting impact on people performance, driving operational efficiencies, and effective strategic go to market activities.
About the person
The successful candidate will be an accomplished sales and operational leader with experience of managing a P&L, you will be degree qualified in business, marketing, or engineering, be highly commercially astute and with the ability flip between strategic and tactical initiatives with ease, having a clear track record of galvanising and building high performing sales and operational teams is a must. With regards to industry background, my client is a modern forward-thinking business so reasonably open minded, given this is a manufacturing and industrial services business, the successful candidate will be an astute people leader coming from leading another business through growth in an aligned industry.
