The business has a national footprint across Australia with large network of stores as well as a strong direct-to-consumer online business.  This is a unique opportunity for a Experienced and Senior E-commerce Professional to drive significant growth and take the online store to new heights and lead the team as their Head of Ecommerce.   

About the role


The business is seeking an exceptional Head of E-commerce to join the business and continue to develop the E-commerce strategy to ensure a seamless customer expereince, own the product roadmap and drive online trade whilst leading and coaching the team.    

Key responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a dynamic team acorss digital marketing and online functions 
  • Lead the ecommerce strategy and innovation across online sites and drive significant revenue growth
  • Work very closely with the external agency on any onsite UX / CX improvements on regular basis to continue to improve site performance
  • Build the optimisation/ conversion framework, focus on test / learn through A/B testing to drive ongoing improvements
  • Review data on a daily / weekly /monthly basis, identify opportunities onsite to optimise and improve conversion and customer experience
  • Build businesses case for future investment and continue to build out the roadmap and prioritise key initiatives accordingly

What we are looking for

  • Strong commercial e-commerce experience in managing online websites within a dynamic and fast paced retail environment
  • Demonstrable experience in driving online growth in previous businesses 
  • A natural collaborator with a strong analytical mind-set and attention to detail, you will be able to influence those around you to drive the brand ecommerce growth
  • Expereince managing and leading a team and building out functions to support online growth
  • Possessing gravitas and strong communication skills you will be able to articulate a clear vision and be able to work in partnership with your stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Customer first focus, thinking in the eyes of the customer / customer service / creating seamless customer experience
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to problem solve
