About the role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Engagement, as the Engagement Planner you will take the lead on a range of Engagement team functions, as well as support on key engagement projects including brand refresh, advocacy strategy, website redevelopment, community engagement framework and media relations strategy. You will also be developing communications and engagement plans for individual services and organisational projects that align with strategic direction.
In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination of seamless delivery and resource allocation of strategic Engagement projects. You will maintain direct oversight of the project/brief implementation to ensure consistent delivery and reporting and provide strategic advice and recommendations to the SLT. You will also work closely with the engagement team and local service teams to ensure engagement and communications plans are aligned with the national approach.

Skills & Experience
- Formal tertiary qualifications in Public Relations, Communications or Marketing, or a related field
- 5 + years’ experience in Public Relations, Communications or Marketing, or a related field
- Experience in brand building and management of application of brands across all mediums
- Experience with project management in a marcomms and/or engagement context
- High level of initiative, with the ability to negotiate, solve problems and escalate challenges or opportunities if required.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with ability to successfully navigate ambiguity and complexity.
- Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels to provide relevant advice and support to collaboratively work towards organisation goals
- Proven track record in successfully developing and nurturing diverse stakeholders’ relationships
- Exceptional communications skills with an ability to analyse and articulate complex concepts and communicate them clearly to a variety of audiences.
