About the role
Reporting to the Communications Manager, this role will be responsible for implementing the marketing and communications strategy and build awareness of key programs among stakeholders and encourage enquiries. You will develop and produce content for the organisation’s website, brochures, newsletters, and video content for both internal and external audiences.
In this role, you will establish relationships with key partner organisations and bring programs and stories to life. With strong brand management skills, you will be responsible for coordinating the implementation of the brand and oversee the design of high-quality marketing materials to promote program uptake. You will be managing all digital activities, including their social media presence and prepare marketing activities reports measuring overall success.
 
 
Skills & Experience
  • A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people, and their families
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications or related discipline are desirable
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar position
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic marketing plans and experience in evaluating and reporting on performance
  • Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively and constructively with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate creativity, initiative, and effective personal judgement
  • Exceptional writing skills and an ability to write for different audiences across a range of mediums
  • Experience working in the non-profit or community services sectors is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise, and work to tight deadlines
  • Highly developed skills across Microsoft Office Suite.
