Our client is an established business which services the building and construction industry, providing sustainably sourced materials which support a range of needs in the sector.

Managing a small team (2), this role has responsibility for market and demand analysis and pricing across several product and market segments and provides pivotal commercial support to the business by way of:

* Leading the monitoring, analysing, reporting and forecasting of key market trends, both domestic and global
* Understanding competitor and import activity to help determine appropriate business strategies
* Supporting the S&OP process to ensure that stakeholders are informed, including leading the strategic outlook of demand over a 5 and 20-year cycle
* Effectively managing pricing changes and driving net margin improvement by identifying profit optimisation opportunities

As a commercial finance professional, you will have ideally worked within a product based business, where you have supported stakeholders across the demand and pricing cycles, or you may have gained expsoure to these areas and you wish to further develop your experience in this space. Importantly, you will be comfortable working with a range of non-finance stakeholders, in this instance working closely with the Group Marketing Manager, along with National and State Sales Managers.
