About the Company
We are working with a fast-growing authentic premium sports skincare brand who is looking to lead and define a new category of skincare for sport. Founded by an Australian Sports Physiotherapist, our client strives to find the right balance between skin science and athlete performance, enabling athletes at all levels to perform at their best with a focus on products that are unique. To help drive momentum and continued growth we are now looking for a Sales & Marketing professional to join as the Chief Growth Officer reporting into the CEO.

About the Role
This is a business-critical role that will see you revolutionise the skin care category as we know it, building, defining, and launching a new retail category, sports skincare.   You will drive omni-channel expansion primarily focusing on pharmacy, speciality retail, and their own direct-to-consumer e-commerce channel. You will evolve their brand strategy and marketing campaigns to align with high performance sport enthusiast through to weekend warriors across B2B and B2C channels. 

About you
You have a strong Sales & Marketing background within the consumer / FMCG space and have prior experience within the pharmacy retail or grocery channel.  You are highly respected,  a growth-driven leader and have demonstrated success in building brands and driving business growth.  Underpinning your exceptional business development and retailer negotiation skills is your ability to balance strategy in a “hands on” manner, whilst building and motivating an engaged and energetic team around you.  

Skills & Experience
  • Experience in senior Sales & Marketing roles within Consumer / FMCG space
  • Proven examples of your ability to scale brands and build sustainable businesses
  • Strong understanding of multi-channel marketing with strong digital emphasis
  • Management of commercial partnerships, including retail & pharmacy channels
  • Strong organisation, communication and influencing skills
  • Effective leadership and coaching skills and ability to build teams
  • Strong passion for sport, exercise, and health / wellness
  • Stakeholder management skills; understanding the nuances and operating rhythms in working with board members / investors.
